Gold, Blue & White Christmas Ornaments
HOW TO....
Blue Ornament
used:
1. coastal blue chalk ultra matte spray paint
2. metallic pure gold rust-oleum paint/primer all in one
3. velvet ribbon
4. clear plastic ornament balls - any shape or size you like
process:
1. remove the silver top and paint it gold- allow to dry completely.
2. at a distance so you don't create splotches, spray the ornaments with the coastal blue paint, allow to dry.
3. once all parts are dry, reassemble and finish off with a velvet ribbon.
HOW TO....
Gold Ornament
used:
1. spray bottle with 1/2 water 1/2 white vinegar
2. metallic pure gold rust-oleum paint/primer all in one
3. velvet ribbon
4. clear plastic ornament balls - any shape or size you like
process:
1. remove the silver top and paint it gold- allow to dry completely.
2. hold ball at an angle and paint inside while rotate the ball, don't overdue it, you can always more if needed. Rotate the ball and then place it hole down and let it dry 90%
3. once almost dry, spray a little more gold paint and squirt a few sprays of 1/2 vinegar - 1/2 water and place again hole down and let it dry completely, creating a beautiful finish.
4. once completely dry, add the velvet ribbon adding an elevated finish.
HOW TO....
White Stain Glass Effect Ornament
used:
1. mod podge & water
2. tissue paper
3. velvet ribbon
4. clear plastic ornament balls - any shape or size you like
process:
1. remove the silver top and paint it gold- allow to dry completely.
2. add mod podge to a bowl and add a half a teaspoon of water - mix
3. rip the tissue into about 1 to 2 pieces - don't use scissors
4. apply some mod podge to the ball and add tissue paper, rub the paper on with more mod podge on your finger, continue this process until the whole ball is covered - this is my absolute favorite!
5. allow the ornaments to dry completely hole face down and then replace cap and add a velvet ribbon.
