spinach & cheese
tuscan ravioli

simple-savory dinner

ingredients

  • 1 pkg of spinach & cheese ravioli

  • 2 tbsps butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, cleaned and halved

  • 3 cups fresh baby spinach

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 tsp dried basil - fresh if you have it on hand

  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp fresh cracked pepper

finishing touches - optional...

directions

  1. prepare ravioli according to pkg

  2. once done drain and set aside

  3. in a large skillet, melt the butter over medium/high heat.

  4. add minced garlic - oh the aroma!

  5. add the tomatoes and cook until they soften. 

  6. stir in the spinach and let it wilt but not for too long - you want to keep the nutrients.

  7. pour in the heavy cream, grated cheese, salt, pepper and basil.

  8. once combined and creamy add the ravioli to the pan and toss.

  9. garnish with fresh parmesan cheese

  10. ENJOY!

  • grate fresh parmesan cheese over dished pasta and serve
